Style Tips | May

Welcome to my monthly Style Tips! Check back here at the beginning of each month for some serious fashion inspiration with the trends that I am loving to wear this month and think you will too. I have found May to be an in-between time for fashion because the weather isn't too warm yet but it doesn't have that winter chill and dressing to reflect that can be difficult. You feel that way too? Well, May's style tips are here to help you transition from those chilly winter months and get ready for the warmth ahead.

Maxi Dress: These are the perfect way to keep you warm on those chilly May days. Throw on a jean or leather jacket and they are perfect for day to night wear. They also come in handy to hide those pesky winter waistlines until you’re bikini season ready.

Mixing Prints: Something I have been seeing this a lot lately and I love it. Whether its stripes with plaid or florals with polka dots or animal prints, this is a great way to break into spring

Throwback Trends: The 90s have been making a huge resurgence lately in fashion and it’s all thanks to the overall. This is one of my favorite spring and summer trends because when done right they can be worn with anything and look effortlessly chic. And no to mention they bring back a certain sense of kindergarten nostalgia.

Short Details: While you take out those high-waist shorts, stray off the path a little bit and try some scalloped shorts. Paired with a blouse or baggy tee, these little details make even the most casual ensemble more feminine.
