MBFW: Day 4

I have been seriously slacking in the #fashionweekfromthecouch department. So here come my recaps. The show just keep getting better and better as the days go on. Read on to find out why.

  • Tracy Reese: This line stunned coming down the runway on Sunday. There were stunning dark floral prints and forest landscapes with backdrops of sunsets. Fringe and sequin details accented these lovely patterns perfectly as well. I thought the collection had a little bit of an old victorian feel, not too much but there were hints.
  • DKNY: I was all about this new collection. It was street inspired with New York pride written all over it. It was completely sporty but more of a high fashion sporty look. And this collection would not be complete without the fur and leather edge to bring the sport full circle.
  • Diane Von Furstenburg: The latest collection from this amazing lady had such a bohemian tone. There was no shortage of fluid fabrics coming down this runway. The most stunning part of the collection was the rich blue jewel tones, which fit on with all the other blues coming down all the other runways, and the gold parade that ended the show.
  • Band of Outsiders: And the coat envy continues with this stunning collection. The whole collection had some retro undertones and was very minimalistic, beginning with the backdrop. There were prints that reminded me of the mod era and long full skirts to compliment that, which I loved.

Remember to tweet me using the hashtag mentioned above and to keep checking here for more recaps of all my favs.
